Psarou Beach Hotel Mykonos
One of the cheaper family hotels to stay in Mykonos is the Psarou Beach Hotel. This family run hotel is located 4km from Mykonos town and 30km from the beach. This hotel compromises of 29 rooms, all which have sea and mountain views. The Psarou Beach Hotel has been recently refurbished in 2008 with new beds and lighting and is now regarded as a tourist class hotel.
Its facilities include; a private shower, air conditioning, a telephone, TV and satellite. Each room also has its own personal balcony. The hotel also provides a bus that can take you straight to the airport and also to town. Their cheap rates also include a buffet breakfast. As you can see, guests are provided with basic yet organized facilities which makes their stay in Psarou Beach Hotel comfortable and affordable.
We found the hotel rooms to be clean and functional, It was nice to see that there is no compromise on cleanliness such as clean towels and bedding, it also allowed visitors easy access to the beach. This is an advantage for visitors, especially those with babies or young children. The breakfast is simple with cereal etc. We found the staff and managers to be very helpful, friendly and co-operative. One of the best features of the Hotel Psarou Beach is the beautiful serene view of the sea from the hotel windows.
We would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family, families with children or teenagers. However it may be slightly more difficult for older travelers or people with disabilities may find it difficult due to mobility issues.
